Despite what it says on Wikipedia, the Limpopo doesn't actually rise; it's formed by the confluence of the Marico and Crocodile rivers.
(Further down the page, Wikipedia does say "Two of its tributaries, the Marico River and the Crocodile River join, at which point the name changes to Limpopo River.")
